Precautions for use : - Regularly monitor a wound and its perimeter to detect any signs of infection such as pain, redness, oedema, odour or suppuration. In case of doubt or infection, contact a doctor or nursing service. - Single-use sterile bandages: do not reuse, do not store bandages in an open bag, do not reposition a bandage that has already been applied, otherwise there is a risk of infection. - Bandages sterilised with ethylene oxide, do not re-sterilise. Check the integrity of the sterility protector before use. Do not use if packaging is damaged. - Do not use the bandages for more than 30 consecutive days without interruption. - Keep out of the reach and sight of Children. - Do not use after the expiry date (indicated on the sachet and on the box) - Keep the sachets of compresses in their original box - Read the instructions and precautions for use carefully before use.
1. Open the sachet without touching the compress so that it retains its sterile properties.
2. Clean the wound with a dry compress or one soaked in saline solution.
3. Depending on the size of the wound and the amount of exudate, cover with 1 or 2 compresses. Fix with a plaster or other means of fixation. Depending on the prescription and the condition of the wound or dressing, renew the dressing once or twice a day according to the instructions for use. When making Plasters, do not use more than 4 compresses per day.
