ERGY 3 is an original combination of wild fish oils (anchovy and sardine), rich in omega-3 essential fatty acids (EPA and DHA).
It is recognised that a daily dose of 250 mg of EPA and DHA supports heart function.
When is it recommended?
The Omegas-3 considered essential by ANSES* provide the body with two types of acid:
Alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) is one of the polyunsaturated fatty acids found mainly in certain vegetable oils (walnut, rapeseed, soya, hemp, flax, etc.) and oilseeds (walnuts, flax, almonds, etc.).
It cannot be manufactured by humans and must therefore be provided by the diet.
It is the precursor of two other fundamental acids:
Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) synthesised from ALA does not cover Metabolism needs.
It is therefore necessary to find other sources in the diet, particularly oily fish.
The same applies to eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), which is found in abundance in cold sea fish.
ALA and EPA/DHA levels are well below the recommended levels in our Western diet.
