For external use only
Never use tap water or any non-sterile product with Contact lenses, as this could lead to microbial contamination and irreversible eye damage.
Consult your doctor or a specialist before using any medical eye product if you wear Contact lenses.
Do not use this solution if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
After opening, use MeniCare Pure within 3 months and make sure the bottle is properly closed after each use.
Avoid touching the tip of the bottle with your fingers.
Do not swallow the solution.
Keep this solution out of the reach of Children.
Never use the product after the expiry date.
Never use the solution if the protective film around the cap is broken before the first use.
Never use this solution with soft lenses.
Keep the case clean and dry after use.
Store the product in a room at room temperature (<25°C)
Keep the product out of direct sunlight.
Change the case each time you change the bottle of MeniCare Pure.
Consult your Ophthalmologist before changing the solution.
Do not use as a lubricant or moisturising solution.
If discomfort or irritation persists, remove contact lenses, discontinue use and consult your ophthalmologist.
MENICARE PURE (manufactured by Menicon Co., Ltd) and PROGENT (manufactured by Menicon Pharma) are class IIb medical devices marked CE 0483. Please read the instructions for use carefully.
PROGENT: Dose A: Sodium hypochlorite solution (NaCIO 20.30 mg - purified water q.s.p 5 ml). Dose B: Potassium bromide solution (KBr 30.75 mg - purified water q.s.p 5 ml).
Do not instil the product into the eyes, nose or mouth. In the event of accidental splashing, rinse eyes immediately with plenty of water and consult your ophthalmologist immediately.
- Rinsing your lenses thoroughly with your usual rinsing solution is an essential step after soaking in Progent solution.
- KEEP THE PRODUCT OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN
Lenses should not be soaked for more than 30 minutes. Soaking lenses for longer than this will not affect their quality, but may discolour them.
- Important: do not swallow.
- To be used weekly for daily wear (and when lenses are removed for continuous wear).
- Do not use solution A or B separately.
- Single-use doses. After each use, solution A+B and the doses must be discarded.
- Store at room temperature (15-25°C).
- Avoid contact with Skin and splashes on Textiles: risk of bleaching.
- Do not use after the expiry date (printed on the doses).
- Keep out of direct sunlight.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
- Do not use for soft lenses.
- History of allergy to any of the ingredients.
SIDE EFFECTS
In the event of persistent discomfort or irritation, remove the contact lenses, stop using the product and consult an ophthalmologist.
LENS DISINFECTION
Progent disinfects against micro-organisms (bacteria, fungi, viruses, amoebae) within 5 minutes of soaking.
