Method used to obtain the extract - Supercritical CO2 extraction. Supercritical processes eliminate solvent residues (extraction, impregnation, formula), which is essential when the solvent is an organic compound. Plus, the low temperatures involved (generally between 40 and 60°C) mean that the chemical integrity of the heat-sensitive molecules treated can be preserved.
