The addition of 0.3% lidocaine has not affected the shelf life or biocompatibility of the products, according to product manufacturer 'Q-Med.
The performance of Restylane and Restylane Perlane lidocaine has been clinically proven to be the same as that of products without lidocaine.
In a double-blind randomised split-face study to assess injection site Pains, 90% of patients rated Restylane Perlane lidocaine as the most comfortable treatment.
