Description
RHINICUR Nasal rinse for Children For frequent colds and pollen allergies Medical device for Intensive nasal hygiene in Children aged 3 and over 20 sachets of 1.25g
RHINICUR® nasal rinse for Children is a high-quality medical device for intensive nasal hygiene in children aged 3 and over. It contains :
sodium hydrogen carbonate to help dissolve viscous and stubborn secretions and neutralise Metabolism inflammations,
potassium sulphate to help decongest the nasal mucosa and improve blood circulation,
natural spring salt with minerals and trace elements to remineralise and revitalise the nasal mucosa.
Rhinicur® nasal rinse salt for Children contains no chemical additives designed to preserve or improve the flow properties, as is the case with cooking salt, for example.
With this blend of Minerals or this rinse solution made from it, both carefully tailored to nasal secretion, you can thoroughly and gently cleanse your nose of mucus, pathogens, allergens and impurities such as dust and dirt.
Nasal rinses have been tried and tested in Children - for the prevention and treatment of acute or chronic colds with high mucus production, - for the prevention and treatment of recurrent infections following swelling of the tonsils (vegetations = polyps, in popular parlance) with or without the middle ear (otitis), - for the treatment of sinus inflammation, - as an adjunctive treatment for pollen allergies.
The composition may be subject to variations, so we advise you to always check the list on the purchased product.
Composition: Natural spring salt (50g/kg), Hydrogen carbonate (205g/kg), Sodium chloride (725g/kg), Potassium sulphate (20g/kg).
Use lukewarm distilled or previously boiled Water (boil for 1 to 3 minutes, then allow to return to body temperature). Do not use tap water (uncertain quality) to make the rinse solution.
To prepare a nasal rinse solution, dissolve one sachet of RHINICUR' rinse salt for Children in 125 ml of lukewarm water. Make sure the salt is completely dissolved. In Children, nasal rinses can be given up to 3 times a day, each time using a 125 ml solution. Usually, the recommended frequency is once a day with a 125 ml solution. For long-term rinsing treatments (several months or years), use every 2 to 3 days has also proved effective.
Caution: It is important to maintain the correct concentration of the rinse solution, as too high or too low a concentration can cause irritation and undesirable effects. RHINICUR' nasal rinse for Children dissolved as prescribed always produces an isotonic solution, i.e. a saline solution adapted to the Minerals content of the blood.
Note: The water used to make the rinse solution must not exceed 50°C and must always be clean. Use lukewarm distilled or previously boiled water (boil for 1 to 3 minutes, then allow to return to body temperature). Do not use tap water (uncertain quality) to make the rinse solution. Never use stagnant water or residual rinse solution to avoid contamination. Always use sterile or pre-boiled water for patients at particular risk (e.g. cystic fibrosis patients or new patients operated on within 3 days of the OP).
