Klamath algae, also known as AFA(Aphanizomenon Flos Aquae) is a microscopic algae with a blue-green colour due to its high chlorophyll and phycocyanine content. It grows in the fresh water of Upper Klamath Lake in Oregon and is described as a SUPER FOOD because it contains 115 highly bioavailable nutrients (vitamin A, group B vitamins, C, E, K, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, amino acids, essential fatty acids, etc.). Its action is synergised in ULTRAKLAMATH by taurine, L-carnitine, coenzyme Q10, trans-resveratrol, Green Tea Polyphenols and vitamin D3.

The AFA contained in ULTRA KLAMATH is harvested in a controlled area. It is obtained using a patented dehydration process called "Bioactive Deshydration", which guarantees the preservation of the blue-green algae.
Our klamath seaweed is not simply dried by a Classic spraying process, but by special low-temperature spraying. This patented drying process ensures that the quality of the fresh seaweed is maintained. There is no degradation of Colour, flavour, aromas, enzymes or nutritional composition. The temperature never exceeds 41°C (106°F). What's more, this process prevents the product from oxidising during the delicate drying process.
