Grintuss is a product based on honey and molecular complexes which has a protective and therefore lenitive action on the upper airways. It acts on dry coughs by combatingirritation of the mucous membrane and on wet coughs by promoting Hydration and the elimination of mucus. Grintuss Adult tablets are made using innovative extraction and production processes which concentrate the polysaccharide, resin and flavonoid fractions responsible for the muco-adhesive and mucosa-protecting action. The Honey present in the formula contributes to this activity and gives the tablets a pleasant taste. Grintuss is an organic and gluten-free product .
INDICATIONS Grintuss Adult tablets are indicated for the treatment of dry and hacking coughs in adults and children aged 12 and over.
HOW DOES IT WORK? Grintuss Adult tablets protects the mucous membrane by soothing irritation, hydrates and encourages the elimination of mucus through the following mechanisms of action:
Barrier effect: it forms a protective film that adheres to the mucosa and protects it from contact with irritating agents
Muco-regulating action: stimulates mucus hydration and encourages its elimination
Lubricant action: reduces the friction in the pharynx that causes coughing
Grintuss modulates coughing without suppressing it, thus respecting its important role indefending the upper airways.

How to use it
It is advisable to take 1 tablet 2 to 4 times a day, allowing it to melt slowly in the mouth.

I’ve been using these chewing tablets for a while now, and they really help soothe dry coughs. They’re also great for air travel or conference meetings where the air tends to be very dry. The taste is pleasant and herbal. I’ll definitely buy them again.
