Thanks to Policaptil Gel Retard® , Libramed acts at the intestinal level forming an extremely viscous gel that helps control the postprandial glucose peak , reducing the amount and speed of absorption of carbohydrates (delayed effect). It also causes a decrease in the feeling of hunger and postprandial drowsiness . In addition, with the same mechanism, Policaptil Gel Retard® limits the absorption of fat, promotes intestinal transit and regulates the consistency of stool.
INDICATIONS
Combined with a balanced diet, adequate fluid intake and regular physical activity, Libramed, thanks to its mechanism of action, is indicated for the control of weight in adults and children from 8 years old.

It is advisable to take the product at least two hours before or after taking medication, so as not to interfere with their absorption. Do not take during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Do not use the product in case of hypersensitivity or individual allergy to one or more of the components. Store at room temperature, away from heat and protect from light. Keep out of reach of children. The expiry date refers to the intact product and stored properly.
The product does not replace a varied diet. Follow a low-calorie diet and regular physical activity. In case of prolonged periods of more than three weeks, it is advisable to consult a doctor.

How to use it
Adults and adolescents over 12 years old
3 tablets before the two main meals
Children between 8 and 12 years old
2 tablets before both main meals
Take the indicated dose in a large glass of water taking care to ingest one tablet at a time. Do not chew or break the tablet with your teeth. For those with swallowing problems, dissolve Libramed tablets in warm water or unsweetened herbal teas, stirring until complete dissolution. The drink that is obtained must be ingested in a few minutes before the gel is formed.
