Avène Gentle Exfoliating Jelly is a topical formulation designed for gentle skin exfoliation. This dermo-cosmetic product helps remove dead skin cells and surface impurities while preserving the integrity of sensitive skin’s natural barrier.
Mechanical exfoliation with keratolytic action
This exfoliating jelly combines the mechanical action of cellulose microbeads and jojoba wax with keratolytic agents like niacinamide and sodium salicylate. Together, these ingredients help refine skin texture and support gentle surface cell renewal. Enriched with Avène Thermal Spring Water, known for its soothing properties, this formula minimises skin discomfort during exfoliation, ensuring excellent tolerance for reactive skin.
Skin-friendly texture and biodegradability
Suitable for all skin types, this gel-textured exfoliator is designed for easy application without disrupting the skin’s hydrolipidic film. Regular use helps maintain an even skin texture and prepares the skin for subsequent skincare application. Avène has developed this formula to be biodegradable (OECD301B standard), offering an effective yet environmentally considerate approach to exfoliation that respects skin physiology.
On damp skin, apply a small amount of the jelly. Gently massage in circular motions for 1 minute to remove impurities, then rinse thoroughly with water. Use 1 to 2 times per week for gently cleansed skin.
Ideal for sensitive skin: avoid the eye area and adjust frequency according to your skin type.
