Avène Gentle Exfoliating Jelly is a topical formulation designed for gentle epidermal exfoliation. This dermo-cosmetic product helps remove dead skin cells and surface impurities while preserving the integrity of sensitive skin’s natural barrier.
Mechanical exfoliation with keratolytic action
This exfoliating jelly combines the mechanical action of cellulose microbeads and jojoba wax with keratolytic agents such as niacinamide and sodium salicylate. Together, these ingredients help refine skin texture and promote gentle surface cell renewal. Enriched with soothing Avène Thermal Spring Water, the formula minimises skin discomfort during exfoliation, ensuring excellent tolerance for reactive skin types.
Skin-friendly texture and biodegradability
Suitable for all skin types, this gel-textured preparation is designed for easy massage without disrupting the skin’s hydrolipidic film. Regular use helps maintain a smooth, even complexion while preparing the skin for subsequent skincare application. Avène’s biodegradable formula (OECD 301B standard) delivers structured yet environmentally conscious cleansing, respecting both skin physiology and sustainability.
On a damp face, apply a pea-sized amount of jelly. Gently massage in circular motions for 1 minute to remove impurities, then rinse thoroughly with water. Use 1–2 times per week for gently cleansed skin.
Ideal for sensitive skin: avoid the eye area and adjust frequency according to your skin type.
