Despite its common name, Water Violet is nothing like the famous violet that blooms in the fields in spring. Hottonia palustris (or Marsh Hottonia) is a lovely, slender flower in white, mauve or pale pink, which stands elegantly above the water. Supported by its stem and submerged leaves, it floats proudly and doesn't really need to put down roots to blossom fully.
This pretty aquatic flower often nestles in what may seem an unpleasant environment. It can be found in the heart of ponds, in ditches or in isolated marshes. So, the marsh hottonia has to be earned: you often have to make an effort to find it. If you take the trouble to find it, it will reveal all its beauty. With its slender silhouette, this simple, elegant flower may seem fragile. Bach Flower Water Violet has the spirit of a pioneer, independent and wise, unimpressed by a sometimes unsightly environment.

How to use it
Fleurs de Bach® Original are taken orally. 2drops in a glass of water or on the tongue 4 times a day.

Ingredients: 27% v/v grape alcohol, aqueous solution of Hottonia palustris L. flowers (1:500 dilution).
