Aleppo Soap Olive & Bays of Laurel Body and Hands 1l
Formulated with olive oil and 20% laurel bay oil, this soap is the oldest in the world. Elaborated since the earliest antiquity in Aleppo, in the north-west of Syria, this soap has gradually spread throughout the world thanks to its beneficial properties. Reported in the West by the Crusaders, its recipe spread throughout the Mediterranean basin. It would thus be the ancestor of hard soaps, and in particular Marseille soap.
