What is retinol used for?
Retinol is considered by dermatologists to be one of the star Anti-Ageing ingredients, thanks to its unique and clinically proven ability to visibly reduce wrinkles and other signs of ageing. It increases cell renewal on the surface, restoring the skin's density and firmness.

How to use it

Apply to the Face in the evening before your Anti-Age cream.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Products containing retinol can cause uncomfortable side effects, including dryness, redness and tingling. In most cases, retinol-based products should be introduced into skincare routines gradually or in varying doses to build the skin's tolerance to the ingredient before any real benefits are seen.

Skin must adapt to retinol by following a protocol of use. For the first week, use twice a week, then gradually increase the frequency to every other evening. If discomfort persists, space out the applications and/or reduce the quantity. Always make sure your skin is well hydrated. Apply every evening before your moisturiser. Do not apply to the eye or eyelid area. Do not use in combination with retinol-based products outside the BIOTHERM Blue Pro-Retinol range. Do not intentionally expose Skin to the Sun and use a broad-spectrum SPF 30 product daily.
