CeraVe SA Smoothing Cream is a dermo-cosmetic formula designed to care for dry, rough and flaky skin, particularly in cases of keratosis pilaris. This topical treatment helps exfoliate dead skin cells while supporting the restoration of the skin’s protective barrier, stabilising skin texture and reducing excessive flaking.
Keratolytic synergy of 10 % urea and salicylic acid
This treatment works through a dual exfoliating action that combines 10 % urea and 0.5 % salicylic acid. Urea acts as a hygroscopic and keratolytic agent, helping to break down the bonds between corneocytes, while salicylic acid aids the removal of keratin clumps that can block pores. Together, they refine the skin’s micro-texture and reduce roughness from the first applications. MVE technology and essential 3-ceramide complex
