As a first step, it cleans the eye and, above all, eliminates the irritants present on the surface of the conjunctiva.
These rinses should be performed using gentle, preservative-free products.
Ophtaxia® (medical device) is a preservative-free eyewash solution that cleanses the eye gently.
Povidone is a polymer (an assembly of several small molecules) which forms a film on the surface of the eye to protect sensitive eyes from external factors.
What's more, thanks to its physical properties, povidone increases the contact time of the eye drops with the eye, providing long-lasting protection.
