The Chlorella is one of the most primitive plant forms on our planet, it is estimated that its appearance dates back some 2.5 billion years. This freshwater microalga was discovered in the 19th century by a Dutch biologist MW Beijerinck. It is a eukaryotic microalga with a nucleus and a complex cell membrane.It also has an astonishing chlorophyll content compared to other plants.
