How to use it
For external use only.
1. Detach a pipette and hold it upright. Tap the narrow end of the pipette gently to ensure that the contents flow down into the centre of the pipette. 2. Break off the self-breaking end of the spot-on pipette by following the engraved line. 3. Part the animal's hair until the Skin is visible. 4. Place the tip of the pipette directly on the Skin. 5. Gently squeeze several times to empty the entire contents of the pipette at one or two points along the back.
Take care to apply the product to an area that the animal cannot lick and ensure that animals do not lick each other after treatment. Do not apply an excessive amount of product to the same spot to prevent the hair from becoming sticky. However, if this happens, the sticky appearance will disappear within 24 hours of application.
Compositions & ingredients
The composition may be subject to variations, so we advise you to always check the list on the purchased product.
Composition: Fipronil 402,000 mg.
Do not use in puppies under 2 months of age and/or weighing less than 2 kg in the absence of available information. Do not use in sick (System diseases, fever, etc.) or convalescent animals. Do not use in rabbits, as adverse reactions, sometimes lethal, may occur. This product has been specifically developed for dogs. Do not use in cats, to avoid overdosing. Do not use in the event of hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or any of the excipients.
In animals: Animals must be accurately weighed before treatment. Avoid all contact with the animal's eyes. In the event of accidental contact with the eyes, wash immediately with plenty of water. Do not apply the product to damaged Skin. Ensure that the product is applied to an area that the animal cannot lick and that animals do not lick each other after treatment.
For the person administering the veterinary medicinal product to animals: This product may cause irritation to the mucous membranes and eyes. Contact with the mouth or eyes should therefore be avoided. In the event of accidental contact with the eyes, wash immediately with plenty of water. If eye irritation persists, seek medical advice immediately and show the instructions or labelling. Avoid touching the contents of the pipette with your fingers. If you do, wash your hands with soap and water. Wash your hands after use. Do not smoke, drink or eat during application. Animals or users with a known hypersensitivity to fipronil or to one of the excipients (see section "List of excipients") should avoid all contact with the product. Until the application site is dry, treated animals must not be handled and Children must not be allowed to play with treated animals. It is therefore advisable not to treat animals during the day but rather in the early evening, and not to let animals that have just been treated sleep with their owners, especially children.
