How to use it
How to use Frontline skin spray for cats and dogs against fleas, ticks and lice?
Spray 10–20 cm from the coat, against the direction of hair growth, covering the whole body (back, sides, legs and neck). Press the pump 6 times per kg (0.5 ml pump) or twice (1.5 ml pump). Leave to dry without rinsing.
Repeat after a minimum of 4 weeks. For long coats, double the dose (12 or 4 pumps per kg) for optimal protection. Avoid contact with the eyes and mouth.

Why use Frontline spray for fleas and ticks on dogs and cats? Frontline spray is the go-to solution for emergency treatment or for very young animals. It allows you to treat the entire animal in one application. Its main advantage is that it can be used on both dogs and cats, and particularly on puppies and kittens from 2 days of age (ideal for infested litters).
How many weeks between Frontline spray treatments? The duration of protection varies depending on the parasite. Against fleas, it protects for up to 3 months in dogs and 6 weeks in cats. Against ticks, protection lasts approximately 1 month. It is therefore recommended to reapply every 4 weeks during periods of risk.
How quickly does Frontline spray work? The action is immediate. Unlike spot-on pipettes which need to spread, the spray covers the animal's body directly. Fleas die on contact with the dried product on the coat, often within 4 hours of application, which quickly relieves scratching animals.
What quantity should be applied? This is the technical point: the animal must be thoroughly wetted. The recommended dose is 3 to 6 ml per kg of body weight (equivalent to 2 to 4 pumps per kg for the 250ml bottle). The product must be applied against the direction of the coat to reach the skin properly and left to air-dry (no towel).
Can the animal be bathed afterwards? It is preferable to wait 48 hours after application before bathing the animal or allowing it to swim, to give the protective film time to bind properly to the skin's sebum. After that, the product has reasonable water resistance.
