Of the four olfactory universes that are sources of our inspiration (Traditional Vanilla, Travel Journal, Childhood Memories, the Orchard), the Grapefruit Vanilla Eau de Parfum has placed itself naturally in the Travel Journal family.
The grapefruit tree is known and cultivated in Southeast Asia for almost 4000 years. Symbol of fertility and prosperity, it was considered one of the three blessed fruits (together with peach and lemon) not only in China, but also in Greece, in the Roman Empire and in the Middle East. In 1649, the first grapefruit seeds from Asia were introduced by the English captain Philip Shaddock in Barbados and the Caribbean. In 1823 it is brought in Florida and becomes one of the most consumed citruses in the USA. At that time it was served during cruise ships on the Atlantic, sliced in half and sprinkled with sugar.
This eau de parfum is composed of 85% natural ingredients.
We select high quality pure ingredients in the surrounding nature and natural vanilla extracts from Madagascar and Mexico. They are combined with a 100% natural alcohol, guaranteed phthalate-free in order to obtain combinations of vivid notes which come to life on the skin.
To respect traditions, a 21-day maceration is needed to ensure a balanced olfactory combination. This process allows the subtle combination of all the ingredients. Special care is also provided to the phases of cooling and filtration that determine the stability and consistency of the combinations over time.
