Gentle on sensitive skin
Made in France, Biolane nappies combine an inner layer and leak-proof barriers made from plant-derived materials, including sugar cane and corn starch. Natural-origin materials in contact with the skin are used across all surfaces intended for this purpose. They are guaranteed to contain no added irritating or toxic substances and are tested under dermatological supervision. The micro-aerated outer layer lets the skin breathe, while the soft materials are designed for baby’s comfort.
Absorption and everyday comfort
The absorbent core combines three layers with dense cellulose to absorb liquids quickly, providing protection for up to 12 hours. Its thick, cushioned and soft feel contributes to baby’s comfort. The nappies are also designed to give baby plenty of freedom to move. The cellulose used is unbleached with chlorine and comes from responsibly managed FSC®-certified forests, as well as other controlled sources. The packaging contains at least 80% recycled materials.

How to use Biolane nappies?
Choose a nappy size based on your baby's weight: size 1, 2 to 5 kg; size 2, 3 to 6 kg; size 3, 4 to 9 kg; size 4, 7 to 18 kg; size 5, 11 to 25 kg. If you’re unsure between two sizes, choose the larger one.
The nappy provides up to 12 hours of protection. It has no wetness indicator, so check regularly whether it needs changing.

Whether it's their hygiene range or nappies, every product is formulated to care for fragile infant skin without exposing it to harsh or questionable ingredients. Biolane nappies, in particular, feature naturally derived materials in contact with the skin and are chlorine-free, using a TCF (Total Chlorine Free) oxygen-bleaching process. This ensures excellent skin tolerance and offers gentle protection while respecting the baby’s delicate skin balance.
How do I choose the right Biolane nappy size? Choosing the right size is key to comfort and leak protection. A nappy that’s too tight won’t absorb properly, while one that’s too loose may not sit securely. Biolane offers a range of sizes tailored to your baby’s weight, from newborn to toddler. If your baby is between sizes, it’s usually best to go for the larger option for better comfort and fit. Each size is designed to support your baby’s growth while keeping them dry and protected.
Why don’t Biolane nappies include a wetness indicator? Biolane has intentionally chosen not to include wetness indicators, to avoid unnecessary exposure to potentially irritating chemicals. This decision reflects the brand’s commitment to offering safe, natural and endocrine disruptor-free products. While traditional indicators can contain synthetic compounds, Biolane prioritises purity and performance, ensuring high absorption without compromising your baby’s skin health. The absence of an indicator doesn’t affect the effectiveness of the nappy—it remains perfectly suitable for daily use.
The Pampers Harmony nappies are particularly absorbent and entirely composed of cellulose. They have very soft and extensible attachments . These diapers are size 4 for babies from 9 to 14 kg. They have a urine sensor to know when it's time to change.
