NORSAN natural cod liver oil comes from a wild and sustainable fishery in the Arctic and is used in our Omega-3 Arktis, Omega-3 Arktis Capsules and Omega-3 Kids products. The fishing area is located off the Norwegian coast. The Arctic Ocean is the cod's natural habitat. It is the cold, nutrient-rich waters of the Arctic Ocean that give cod its unique quality. In order to deliver catches as fresh as possible, the boats in the fishing fleet return to port every day. The fish caught is processed within 2 hours.

Omegas Arktis Capsules are made from natural, unconcentrated cod liver oil. This means that the product contains the complex of Plus 50 fatty acids naturally present in fish. Our cod liver oil is extracted and purified in such a gentle way that the natural structure of the fish's fatty acids is preserved. The difference between natural cod liver oil and concentrated cod liver oil lies in the fact that, in concentrated oil, the natural structure of the fatty acids is modified by various chemical processes designed to artificially increase the concentration of Omegas fatty acids. The Omega-3 oil contained in Omega-3 Arktis Capsules, like all our Omega-3 oils, is processed in such a gentle way that its freshness is particularly well preserved and it is therefore extremely well tolerated. Proof of the quality of Arktis Omegas Capsules is that swallowing the capsules does not cause any unpleasant reflux.
