Blonde psyllium (Plantago ovata), also known as rose plantain or isabgol (ispaghul), is mainly native to India, but can also be found in Pakistan and Iran.
The seed coat is used.

Blonde psyllium is naturally rich in fibre and helps to improve intestinal transit.
It helps maintain a healthy intestine and control cholesterol and lipid levels in the blood. It also helps to regulate bowel movements (temporary constipation, liquidity and appearance).
