The Cinnamon tree is an evergreen with reddish-brown bark. Its greenish flowers give off an unpleasant odour. Native to Ceylon in southern India, it needs warmth and humidity to grow. The bark, used as a spice but also for its medicinal properties, is harvested during the rainy season. Cinnamon essential oil is extracted.
Not recommended for pregnant or Milk feeding women and Children under 12. Cinnamon essential oil: do not apply undiluted to the skin, dilute no more than 1% in a vegetable oil. Cinnamon essential oil: do not diffuse on its own, dilute with a maximum of 1% citrus essential oils.
How to use it
For foodstuffs: use limited to 1 drop per kilo of preparation
