Wearing the EPITACT active soft thumb orthosis helps to relieve joint pain associated with osteoarthritis at the base of the thumb (rhizarthrosis). It limits micro-movements, holds the thumb in place and keeps the joint warm thanks to the properties of its silicone fabric, which has an analgesic effect.
The orthosis is very discreet, flexible and thin: you can drive, write, use your telephone, wear jewellery, etc. The alignment of the thumb bones will limit the forces exerted on the trapeziometacarpal joint and help relieve Pains.
Machine washable at 40°C in the washing net provided.

How to use it
- Put the brace on the hand by sliding the thumb into place. - The seam should be positioned on the inside of the hand. - For optimum comfort, adjust the position of the brace by moving the seam slightly more or less in the centre of the inside of the hand.
