The composition may be subject to variations, so we advise you to always check the list on the purchased product.
Composition:
1 glass syringe containing 1.0 mL of stabilised Hyaluronic Acid Gel (20 mg/mL), in physiological sodium chloride solution pH7
2 needles 27G*1/2
2 traceability labels (patient and doctor)
Warning:
Perfectha Deep is for medical use only. It must be used exclusively as an intradermal implant and must not be injected intravascularly. Perfectha Deep is for single use only.
The syringe, needle and any remaining product must be discarded after use.
The reuse of disposable, single-use syringes and needles exposes the public to serious infectious and viral risks.
Reuse of any leftover product may lead to an increase in known adverse effects. Perfectha® Deep must not be resterilised or used if the box is damaged.
Precautions :
The usual precautions associated with intradermal injections must be followed.
Check that there are no bubbles in the syringe body before injecting.
After implantation, the patient must not expose the treated area to intense heat or extreme cold, at least until the initial oedema and redness have disappeared.
Post-operational adverse events :
Typical absorption is spontaneous, 1 or 2 days after injection into the Skin and 1 week after injection into the Lips.
However, secondary reactions may occur in the implanted area or adjacent tissues, usually within 4 weeks of injection.
These may include skin erythema, swelling oedema, nodules, induration, haematoma, pain, itching or increased sensitivity.
Rare cases of granuloma formation may occur.
All these phenomena usually disappear 1 to 2 weeks after injection.
If the effects persist, treatment should be stopped and the patient consulted.
Undesirable effects resulting from the method of injection :
Accidental injection into the terminal vessels may lead to vascular occlusion and the consequences thereof.
Injecting too deeply or intramuscularly may result in a higher consumption of Hyaluronic Acid and therefore a shorter duration of the implant.
An injection that is too superficial may cause the skin to whiten.
In this case, the injection should be stopped immediately and the affected area massaged until the normal colour returns.
Interactions and contraindications :
Perfectha® Deep must not be used in conjunction with any other implants apart from those in the Perfectha® range.
The use of disinfectants such as quaternary ammonium salts or chlorhexidine to clean the patient's skin before and/or after treatment is not recommended due to the risk of precipitation of Hyaluronic Acid in the Gel.
Furthermore, this product must not be used on pregnant or breast-feeding women or on Children.
Areas of the Face with active skin pathology, inflammation or similar lesions are not suitable for Perfectha® Deep.
Any medical treatment in progress must be studied before the injection is carried out.
Perfectha® Deep should not be injected before or after UV exposure, a chemical peel or any other treatment based on an active dermal response.
