Dr' Jacob's Fermented Pomegranate Elixir or Totum is a powerful antioxidant.
Made of pulp and juice of 50 organically farmed pomegranates, this bio-active fermented concentrate brings out a full spectrum of fruit polyphenols, contained in red seeds and white membranes.
The Pomegranate Elixir is obtained from a low heated and freeze-dried fruit, preserving all its properties. Its concentration is 21 times higher than that of a traditional pomegranate juice, 60 times higher than quality red wine, 70 times higher than green tea infusion.
Thanks to this unique and original process, one spoonful (10 ml) of Pomegranate Elixir has a Total Anti-Oxidant (TEAC) content equivalent to a 200 ml of pomegranate juice.
Its polyphenol content is approximately of 30,000 mg / l.
A 500ml bottle of Dr Jacob's Pomegranate Elixir thus has a virture of 10 liters of classic pomegranate juice (polyphenol content controlled according to the Folin-C method).
