The skin is naturally home to a large number of microbes (bacteria, microscopic fungi, etc.), known as the cutaneous flora. Normally, this flora is self-regulating, but in certain vulnerable animals (allergic, infested by parasites, etc.), microbes may develop abnormally, causing skin infections (e.g. pyoderma or Malassezia dermatitis).
PYOclean® Spray purifies the skin of animals prone to skin infections, thanks to its natural active ingredients with antimicrobial properties. It will also help the flora to regain its balance while stimulating its natural defences and soothing the skin. PYOclean® Spray also helps to strengthen the skin barrier, leaving the skin better hydrated and more resistant.
The handy spray format is ideal for use on small areas as soon as the first signs (redness, pustules, scabs, etc.) appear. For widespread cases, PYOspot® is more suitable. Ask your vet for advice.
The treatment of skin infections is long and restrictive and often involves the use of antibiotics. PYOclean® Spray is a useful supplementary care product to help reduce the need for antibiotics.
PYOclean® Spray contains Lavender and Manuka essential oils with antimicrobial and soothing properties. The spray is also enriched with essential fatty acids extracted from plants with hydrating properties. Other natural active ingredients (N-acetylcysteine, etc.) help to maintain the balance of the skin's flora and strengthen its natural defences.
