And then it gets all frizzy and untidy. I usually use water to get the curls remember their after wash state. After using this gel, my hair looked better for up to 3 days without using water. My locks were not as soft as without, but I'd still recommend this product for it's effectiveness.

A little really goes a long way—it's easy to overdo it with gel normally and end up with crispy curls - but with this gel I didnt need too much, and it works wonders. It’s so easy to apply and gives my curls a defined, polished look without feeling heavy or sticky. The fact that it then keeps the curl for a few days, so exciting to finally have a gel that ticks all the boxes

Rated 5 out of 5 by Chillywoo from Long Lasting Curls [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a brilliant new product from Redken which I’ve been lucky enough to try out for free for my honest review. First impression was the texture of the gel is slightly thicker than my normal gel but it distributes through the hair very nicely and has a subtle scent that I like. After applying and scrunching my hair in preparation for diffusing, I could see the definition of my curls and after diffusing was left with beautiful soft bouncy curls. There is a slight crunch but then once hair is completely dry you just need to scrunch through hair lightly to break that up then curls look really natural and defined. I will definitely carry on using this gel along with the other Redken curl products.

The formula is lightweight and non-sticky, making it a dream to apply. Plus, the scent is subtle but incredibly pleasant. I've tried countless curl products, but this one is definitely a keeper! Highly recommend!
