INCI formula: Potassium hydroxide (0.15 g per bottle), purified water.
For external use.
When using the solution, place the bottle on a flat surface to avoid spilling.
It should only be applied by an adult.
Read the instructions carefully before use.
Warning: this product may be corrosive if used inappropriately. Do not allow the liquid to come into contact with healthy Skin. Wash your hands after each use.
Molutrex must not be used :
- in the event of an allergy to any of the ingredients;
- in Children under 2 years of age;
- on infected or already inflamed Molluscum contagiosum;
- on mucous membranes and around the eyes, open wounds or skin damaged by scratching;
- on Classic warts and any other keratinisation of the skin;
- in patients with acute atopic eczema;
- on people with a deficient immune system;
- on parts of the body that may come into contact with an infant during milk feeding.
To prevent infection, do not scratch or pluck Molluscum contagiosum.
In the event of contact with healthy skin, mucous membranes or eyes, rinse thoroughly with water for 15 minutes and seek medical advice.
Do not rub your eyes or mucous membranes if the product has accidentally been spilt on your fingers. Wash hands promptly.
- Possible side effects:
- Risk of burning sensation and transient irritation; the intensity of irritation depends on the sensitivity of the skin and the amount of solution applied.
- Hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation may appear after the disappearance of certain treated Molluscum contagiosum. It will disappear spontaneously.
- Scarring is very rare; the risk is greatest when the Molluscum is scratched.
If you are breast-feeding, do not use this solution on parts of the body that may come into contact with the baby.
Do not exceed the use-by date shown on the bottle.
Close the bottle tightly after use.
Store the product upright.
Keep out of the reach of children.
The bottle can be stored for 1 month after opening.
Store the product at room temperature between 15° C and 25° C.
