More than 3000 years ago, the Incas consumed Maca root for the first time in the Altiplano region of Peru.
Maca , a plant with small tubercles, is one of the rare plants that grows at more than 3,500 meters above sea level, so it is resistant to extreme conditions. In the language of the Incas "MA" means "altitude" and "CA " translates as "nourishing food" .
Today maca is also known as "Peruvian Ginseng".
SUPERDIET maca comes from roots cultivated according to the principles of the Organic Farming regulations.
The roots are picked and sorted by hand, sun dried and powdered.
