Thymus is a genus of the Lamiaceae family, which includes more than 300 species. These plants, rich in essential oils, are creeping or cushion-shaped, bearing small pale pink or white flowers. Linalool Thyme can form homogeneous populations in small areas. In all these cases, the Habitat is located at mid-altitude, between 500 and 1000 metres, and is characterised by less intense sunshine, lower temperatures and higher air humidity than on the plains. However, this Thyme can grow in very different ecological conditions.
