Why use Topicrem Mela ultra-hydrating brightening body lotion? Topicrem MELA is a unifying body lotion specifically formulated for sensitive skin with pigmentation marks. It corrects hyperpigmentation, evens skin tone and provides intense 24-hour hydration. It's the ideal treatment for restoring radiant, comfortable skin without resorting to harsh, potentially harmful products.
Is this a bleaching product? No, it contains no hydroquinone or corticosteroids. It respects the skin's natural beauty and integrity. It brightens dark spots to restore the skin's natural colour and enhances radiance, but it doesn't alter your genetic complexion (no aggressive bleaching).
What are the active ingredients? It uses the MELA complex (Niacinamide + targeted actives) which inhibits melanin transfer to the skin's surface. Combined with Glycerin and Beeswax, Topicrem's signature ingredients, it ensures optimal hydration essential for radiance.
Does it provide sun protection? This body lotion contains sun filters (SPF 15 or PA+++ protection depending on the version—check the packaging). This is essential as sun exposure is the number one cause of pigmentation marks. However, during intense sun exposure (beach, for example), a proper SPF 50 sunscreen remains essential.
Can it be used during pregnancy? This lotion is formulated for high tolerance and is paraben-free. It's often used to help prevent or reduce pregnancy mask (chloasma) on the body. However, as a precaution during pregnancy, avoid applying it to the stomach and breasts before breastfeeding.
