HORUS PHARMA Vismed Ocular lubricant Preservative-free hypo-osmolar ophthalmic solution 150 mOsmol/l Sodium hyaluronate: 0.18 Medical device 20 single doses of 0.3ml
VISMED® contains sodium hyaluronate, a natural polymer also present in the structures of the human eye. The special physical characteristics of sodium hyaluronate give VISMED® its viscoelastic and water-retaining properties. VISMED® forms a stable film on the surface of the eye, which is only very slowly removed by the fluttering of the eyelids. VISMED® thus combines a prolonged effect with maximum comfort. Thanks to its special composition, VISMED® is very well tolerated. VISMED® contains no preservatives.
Tilt the head back and position the tip of the container over the eye to be treated. Pull the lower eyelid downwards with the index finger of one hand. Press down on
the container and a drop of VISMED® will flow easily (see illustrations). Unless otherwise recommended, instil 1 to 2 drops of VISMED® into the eye as often as necessary. A few blinks of the eyelids will ensure that the solution is evenly distributed over the ocular surface in a clear, long-lasting film.

1 ml of solution contains 1.8 mg of sodium hyaluronate, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, disodium phosphate, sodium citrate, Magnesium chloride, calcium chloride and Water for Injection. The solution is hypotonic.
Hypersensitivity to any of the constituents of the product
Do not administer VISMED® at the same time as other ophthalmic medicines or products, as it may alter their effects.
In very rare cases, temporary problems such as irritation of the conjunctiva, a sensation of a foreign body, redness or burning of the eye and temporarily blurred vision may occur.
