Garlic is one of the oldest plants cultivated in the world for maintaining good health. Black Garlic offers undeniable added value in terms of health benefits. Unlike raw garlic, it is highly digestible, has a moist, soft texture and a subtly sweet taste. We've nicknamed it "the garlic of lovers".
Black Garlic is obtained by ripening fresh garlic. This does not involve fermentation (no bacterial activity), but rather caramelisation. It is kept for 10 to 15 days at a constant temperature of between 50 and 75°C, with a humidity level of between 70 and 95%. At the end of the process, the garlic is candied and its Colour is Charcoal black. Its taste is reminiscent of liquorice, Balsamic Vinegar and candied fruit, making it a highly gastronomic product. It's a powerful natural tonic, the champion of 'superfoods'.
Vegan, naturally gluten-free and certified Bio.
This product is suitable for vegans and is lactose-free with no added sugar. It is low in saturated fat and salt.
