ActivPatch Cold Sore helps reduce the cold sore in all discretion, throughout its development: from the appearance of light feelings of burn, tingling and itching, until its total disappearance.
Thanks to its ultra fine polyurethane film, ActivPatch creates a protected and waterproof area surrounding the wound. By isolating this area, the patch strongly reduces the risk of contamination by bacteria and propagation of the type 1 Herpes Simplex virus. Its micro-aired structure enables skin to breathe and thus facilitates the cold sore healing.
Thanks to its applicator, ActivPatch is hygienic: it positions easily on the skin without touching the cold sore with fingers.
A patch can remain in place from 8 to 12 hours on average. However, this duration can vary according to people.
Does not contain aciclovir.
