Gentian actually refers to around thirty species of flowers found throughout Europe. Sometimes cultivated in gardens, it is above all a wild plant. Often a very rich, deep blue colour, it is a real eye-catcher. With its long, tubular corolla, it also has a distinctive shape, resembling a trumpet. It usually measures between fifteen and twenty centimetres and usually grows in groups.
The Bach Gentian flower is a strong plant, able to adapt to sometimes difficult soils, particularly limestone, as it is found mainly in the mountains, in meadows, but also on cliffs and dunes. It is also remarkably adaptable. In fact, it closes in on itself when it rains or feels a cold snap coming on. A movement that can be very rapid when necessary, lasting just twenty seconds or so. In order to survive, it can remain closed for a long time, until the temperature rises or the rain stops. It then opens its petals to the Sun, determined to soak up the heat.

How to use it
Fleurs de Bach® Original are taken orally. 2drops in a glass of water or on the tongue 4 times a day.
