The amino acids L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine and L-Valine, known as BCAAs, are essential amino acids and must be provided by the diet. Leucine is particularly important, hence the importance of using a Leucine (4): Isoleucine (1): Valine (1) ratio for Intensive efforts.
