Beaphar Tetramethrin Flea & Tick Powder For Dogs & Cats 150g

Route of administration: External use.
Use approximately 2 mg of Tetramethrin per kg of body weight by the cutaneous route, i.e. 1 g of powder per kg of body weight, which corresponds to 5 g of powder for a 5 kg animal.
Apply the powder to the coat, avoiding the eyes and muzzle, while brushing the fur backwards to help the product penetrate.
Then brush the coat to remove any excess powder.
The treatment can be repeated 2 or 3 times a week and once a week as a preventive measure.

Contra-indications: Do not use on sick or convalescent animals or those with extensive skin lesions.

Special precautions for use :
- In animals: Avoid contact between the powder and the animal's eyes or mouth.
In the event of accidental contact, rinse with plenty of water.
Do not mix with food.
Do not use on puppies and kittens under 2 months of age.

- To be taken by the person administering the veterinary medicine to the animal: Wash your hands after use.
Do not smoke, drink or eat during application.
In the event of accidental exposure to eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.
Use in a well-ventilated area, preferably outdoors.
Keep away from food and drink, including pet food.
