How to use it
Place the mask over the centre of your face, covering your nose. Ensure the blue side faces outwards. Press the nose strip to mould it to the shape of your nose. Position the ear loops behind your ears. Hold the nose strip in place while pulling the mask down to fully cover your nose and chin.
Before using any mask, wash your hands with soap and water or use a hand sanitiser. Ensure the mask is worn the correct way up: the nose strip should be at the top, with "Made In France" visible on the outside. Hold the mask by the ear loops and position them around your ears, making sure the mask covers your nose and mouth. Pull the mask at the top and bottom to fully unfold the pleats (this helps reduce the number of layers you breathe through). Shape the nose strip with your fingers to minimise air gaps. Adjust the mask to fit snugly from the bridge of your nose to below your chin.
To remove the mask, take it off by the ear loops (do not touch the front). Dispose of it immediately, then wash your hands with soap and water or use a hand sanitiser.
How to put on, wear, remove, and dispose of a mask
Before putting on a mask, wash your hands with soap and water or use a hand sanitiser.
Position the mask to cover your nose and mouth, ensuring a secure fit. Check for air leaks around your eyes when exhaling sharply.
For FFP masks, perform a seal check: cover the filter surface with a plastic sheet held in place with both hands, then inhale. The mask should collapse slightly against your face. If it doesn’t, adjust it for a proper seal.
While wearing the mask, avoid touching it. Do not reposition it. Whenever you handle a used mask, wash your hands with soap and water or use a hand sanitiser.
If you need to eat or drink, replace the mask with a new one.
Replace the mask with a new one as soon as it becomes damp. Do not reuse single-use masks.
To remove the mask: if wearing gloves, take them off first and wash your hands with soap and water or use a hand sanitiser.
Then, remove the mask from behind (do not touch the front) and dispose of it immediately in a closed bin. If it is a reusable fabric mask, place it in a plastic bag until it can be washed. Wash your hands with soap and water or use a hand sanitiser.
