Male Fertility Test 98% Reliable Test
Spermtest EXACTO® is a rapid self-test to assess sperm concentration in sperm. Simple and fast, this test estimates your fertility status.
Spermtest EXACTO® is intended for in vitro self-diagnosis.
Spermtest EXACTO® can be used to help diagnose male infertility.
The SP10 protein is expressed only in the sperm head called acrosome and is detected by Spermtest EXACTO®. The concentration of SP10 protein is proportional to the concentration of spermatozoa. When the concentration of spermatozoa is greater than 15x106 / ml (threshold defined by the World Health Organization), the result is positive. When the sample is added to the well of the cassette, it is driven by capillarity and migrates along the membrane. When the sperm count in the sample is equal to or greater than the threshold value, a color band appears visibly in the test zone (T) and indicates a positive result. The absence of this color band in the test zone (T) suggests a negative result.
Positive: 2 colored bands are visible both in the control zone (C) and in the test zone (T). This indicates a positive result (the concentration of spermatozoa is greater than or equal to 15x106 / ml).
Negative: A colored band is visible in the control zone (C) only. No color band appears in the test zone (T) This indicates a negative result (the concentration of spermatozoa is less than 15x106 / ml).
Invalid: No band is visible in any zone, or only one band appears in the test zone (T) only and not in the control zone (C) Re-perform the test with a new cassette. Ensure that the added sample volume is sufficient. If the test fails again, contact Biosynex for technical assistance.
