Originally from South Africa (parent plant = pelargonium graveolens), the geranium has been hybridised to produce cultivars in Egypt, China and Reunion Island. The term "Bourbon" means "from the islands": the Bourbon cultivar comes mainly from the Indian Ocean (Reunion Island) but also from Madagascar, where the soil is ideal for its growth. It is harvested at the start of flowering flowering. It prefers coastal slopes and sand dunes exposed to the Sun.

How to use it
Take 1 to 2 drops on a neutral base, no more than 3 drops a day. Maximum recommended daily dose for oil: 3 drops - 120 mg.
