Hittepit® is a natural, unique product, which can be used cold or warm.
Advice: the cherry pit cushion can also be used as a cold compress.
Place it in a plastic bag in the freezer or fridge.
After a few hours, the cushion should be ideal as a cold compress.
Important notice: Hittepit® should not be used in a bed or cradle.
How to use: Heat the cherry pit pillow in the microwave for 2.5 minutes at a maximum of 700W.
For microwaves with other power outputs, adapt the time needed to heat the cushion accordingly:
(700W Max 2.5 min; 800W Max 2 min; 900W Max 1.5 min; 1000W Max 1 min).
The 11 steps to properly prepare your cherry pit cushion:
1/ Make sure that the microwave is clean and free of grease before placing the cushion in it.
2/ Check the power output of your microwave.
3/ Adjust the heating time accordingly, following the above directions.
4/ Take away any covers or pillow cases that may surround the cushion.
5 Moisten the cushion with water. It's better that it be too wet than too dry, so don't worry about putting too much on!
6/ Place the cushion on the plate at the centre of the microwave, making sure that it isn't touching the walls of the microwave and that the turntable plate can turn freely.
7/ Make sure that no special function, such as the grill function, is turned on. Always remove the microwave's grill before warming up the Hittepit® pillow.
8/ Stay by the microwave while heating your pillow to make sure everything works correctly.
9/ When half the time needed to heat the cushion has elapsed, stop the microwave and turn the pillow over. Once it has been turned over, restart where left off and heat for the remaining time.
10/ Test the temperature of the pillow before using. Works well cold or hot. Briefly shake the pillow before using. Never reheat the pillow after just having heated it once.
11/ Wait at least two hours before reheating a pillow and make sure that it has completely cooled down before reheating.
