Cons-indications
Ialugen Esteem should not be injected in areas where there is insufficient tissue coverage such as the forehead and peri-orbital region, blood vessels, or areas with infectious and / or inflammatory problems.
The implantation of Ialugen Esteem is contraindicated in case of presence in the area to be injected of another filling implant of any kind whatsoever.
Ialugen Esteem should not be used in a short time before or after laser treatment, chemical peeling or dermabrasion.
Do not overcorrect.
Ialugen Esteem should not be used at:
patients with a tendency to develop hypertrophic scars or keloids;
patients with a history of autoimmune or immunotherapy;
patients with a history of multiple severe allergies or anaphylactic shock;
patients with bleeding disorders;
of patients with known hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid;
patients with hypersensitivity to lidocaine hydrochloride and / or amide-type local anesthetic agents;
patients with hepatic impairment and / or treatment decreasing or inhibiting hepatic metabolism;
patients with epilepsy or porphyria;
pregnant or nursing women;
children.
Precautions for use
Do not use Ialugen Esteem Soft for other injections than in the dermis and lips. Do not use Ialugen Esteem Global for other injections than intradermal. Do not use Ialugen Esteem Intense for other injections than intradermal and subdermal. Do not use Ialugen Esteem Volume for other injections than subdermic.
A good knowledge of the anatomy of the area to be treated is necessary in order to avoid the risk of perforation, compression of the blood or lymphatic vessels or damage to vulnerable structures.
Patients on anticoagulant therapy should suspend the dose 14 days before the injection of hyaluronic acid.
Advise the patient not to apply make-up during the 24 hours following the injection and to avoid prolonged exposure to the sun, UV, cold, as well as the practice of the sauna during ten days following the injection.
Particular attention should be paid to the total amount of lidocaine given in conjunction with surgery (eg liposuction ...). Overdosage (over 400 mg) may cause an acute toxic reaction that manifests as symptoms of central nervous system and cardiac function.
The attention of athletes will be drawn to the fact that this product contains an active substance that can cause a positive reaction to anti-doping tests.
