Read the instructions in the leaflet carefully before use.

• There are no age or gender restrictions for using the infrared forehead thermometer.

• Do not take temperature readings on scar tissue, open wounds or abrasions.

• Do not take measurements during or immediately after breastfeeding a baby.

• Do not take measurements with this thermometer near very hot areas, such as fireplaces or stoves.

• Do not touch the temperature probe with your hands. Measurement accuracy may be affected if the probe is damaged or dirty.

• Never immerse the thermometer in water or any other liquid. For cleaning, refer to the instructions in the user manual.

• Never allow children to take their temperature unsupervised, as some parts are small enough to be swallowed.

• Do not modify the device without the manufacturer's authorisation. Never disassemble the device.

• Do not use the device if you suspect it is damaged or notice anything unusual. If the thermometer is damaged, do not attempt to repair it yourself. Please contact Cooper Customer Quality Service.

• Do not operate the thermometer in a high-intensity electromagnetic field, e.g. near mobile phones or radio installations. The device requires special precautions regarding electromagnetic compatibility, as per the information provided in the user manual.

• This thermometer is not intended for use in oxygen-rich environments or in the presence of a flammable anaesthetic mixture with air, oxygen or nitrous oxide.

• When using a non-contact thermometer on a newborn, we recommend verifying the result with a rectal temperature reading.

• This device contains sensitive components and must be handled with care. Follow the storage and usage conditions specified in the user manual.

• Keep batteries out of reach of children.

• Remove the batteries from the device if it will not be used for an extended period.

• To maintain the device's accuracy, we recommend protecting it from:

   - extreme temperatures

   - impacts and falls

   - dust

   - cotton wool

   - sunlight

   - heat and cold.

• The device must not be cleaned or disinfected during use.

• If the measured temperature does not match the patient's condition or is abnormally low, verify by taking the body temperature with a rectal thermometer.

To obtain a reliable result:

- The patient and the thermometer must be at the same ambient temperature for 30 minutes before taking a measurement.

- Before any measurement, ensure the thermometer is clean. Remove hair and any traces of sweat or make-up, and after washing the area, wait 10 minutes before taking a measurement.

- Always take the temperature on the same area of the forehead for more precise monitoring.

- Do not eat, drink or exercise before or during temperature measurement.

- Carefully clean the probe and the thermometer's surface after each use to ensure accurate measurements and prevent contamination. After use, store the thermometer in its original packaging and in a suitable place away from heat, sunlight and moisture.

The measurement provided by this thermometer is not a diagnosis. It does not replace the need for a medical consultation, especially if the measured temperature does not match the patient's symptoms. Do not rely solely on the measurement result; always consider other symptoms that may occur and the patient's own assessment. Even in the absence of fever signs, any change in a baby/young child's behaviour or condition must be treated with the utmost attention. It is advisable to consult a doctor if necessary.
