CLEANING AND DISINFECTION INSTRUCTIONS The TORM Gallium glass thermometer has a hermetically sealed, hygienic glass casing and can be fully disinfected. The temperature of the cleaning and disinfecting solution must not exceed 42°C. Before and after each use, the thermometer should be cleaned with cold, soapy water. Disinfection should be carried out using a cotton wool pad soaked in alcohol or by immersion in a disinfectant solution (conditions and soaking time according to the disinfectant manufacturer's instructions). If the thermometer breaks, the spilled liquid can be cleaned up with a brush, a handkerchief or a cloth soaked in soapy water. Broken pieces can be disposed of as household waste. WARNINGS The thermometer is made of glass (Body), a fragile material that requires care during storage and use. - Please take all necessary precautions when measuring to avoid any risk of injury. - During oral measurement, do not bite the tip of the thermometer, talk, eat, play or run until the thermometer has been removed from your mouth. - Do not drop the thermometer or subject it to shocks. - If the glass casing is scratched, cracked or damaged, do not use the thermometer as there is a risk of injury. - If the thermometer is broken, the pieces of glass and the measuring fluid must be carefully cleaned. - The measuring fluid must not come into contact with precious or light metals, as it may react with them. - Shelf life: 5 years (from the date of manufacture indicated in the batch number). Do not use beyond the shelf-life date. PLEASE NOTE: Children should always be measured under adult supervision. Keep the thermometer out of the reach of children.
