Native to western Asia and southern and central Europe, this biennial herbaceous plant of the Lamiaceae family is widely cultivated in temperate countries as an ornamental plant, but mainly to produce an essential oil used in the manufacture of liqueurs and Perfumes. Sage was one of the life-saving plants of the Middle Ages. The Greeks, Romans and Arabs commonly used it as a tonic and in bandages against snake bites. Egyptian women used to drink sage juice to increase their fertility. "Those who have sage in their garden don't need a doctor" (Provençal saying).
Clary sage is easier to use and less dangerous than common sage. The Professional can recommend it to harmonise a woman's hormonal system.
For the menopause: HECT Clary Sage 1 drop + HECT Common Sage 1 drop + HECT Star Anise 1 drop on cane sugar or HV in the mouth 2 times a day, 5 days a week, continuously.
