Veroval 2 in 1 infrared thermometer
For quick and easy ear temperature measurement
Infrared technology of Veroval ® thermometers allows accurate readings of body temperature in a few seconds and in a particularly delicate way.
They also offer a modern, ergonomic design and a large easy-to-read screen. Of course, this simple way of taking the temperature does not only benefit the little ones: older children and adults also appreciate it.
Fast thanks to infrared technology
The measurement sensor records infrared radiation emitted from the eardrum or the forehead surface. When measuring the ear, it transmits the result of the measurement in one second. When measuring at the edge, it transmits the highest measured value after an analysis.
Our key tips for use:
o Add + 0.5 ° C to compare to a rectal measurement
o Wait 15 minutes between measurements
o Make sure you are in a room at room temperature
o Do not take the measurement after showering or bathing
o Do not before taking a measurement
o Take 3 consecutive measurements for weakened children and use the highest measurement
o Always measure the same place to compare values & establish a temperature monitoring
o Check the cleanliness
The measurement can be performed in the right ear or in the left ear. Make sure that the mode dial is set to the ear measurement. The thermometer measures the infrared rays emitted by the eardrum and ear canal.
These rays are picked up by the sensor and are converted into a temperature value. The most reliable values can be obtained when infrared rays are captured at the middle ear (tympanum). Rays emitted by surrounding tissues generate lower measurement values.
Measure at the front
The thermometer measures the infrared radiation of the skin in the area of the forehead, temples and surrounding tissue. Make sure you are set to the front measurement. These rays are picked up by the probes and converted into a temperature value.
Always use the blue cap for frontal measurement. Do not use the disposable tip for ear measurement for frontal measurement, as this distorts the result.
