The DBP-61F4 upper-arm blood pressure monitor is intended for the non-invasive measurement of systolic and diastolic blood pressure, as well as heart rate, in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age, using the oscillometric method.
The device must not be used on infants, children or anyone unable to communicate their intentions. It is designed for use at home or in a hospital.
• Readings taken with this device do not constitute a diagnosis. They do not replace the need to consult a doctor, particularly if they do not correspond to the patient's
symptoms. Do not rely solely on the readings; always take account of any other symptoms and the patient's feedback.

• Do not confuse self-monitoring with self-diagnosis. Only a healthcare professional familiar with your medical history should interpret your blood pressure readings.
• Please consult your doctor if test results regularly show abnormal readings.
• If you are taking medication, consult your doctor to determine the most appropriate time to measure your blood pressure. NEVER change the dosage

• People with serious circulation problems may experience some discomfort. Consult your doctor before using the device.
• People with irregular or unstable blood circulation due to diabetes, liver disease, arteriosclerosis or other medical conditions may experience
differences between blood pressure readings taken at the wrist and those taken on the upper arm. However, monitoring changes in blood pressure measured at the arm or wrist is useful and important.
• People with vascular stenosis, liver disorders or diabetes, those with a pacemaker or a weak pulse, and pregnant women should consult their doctor before measuring their own blood pressure. Their condition may cause different readings.
• People with arrhythmias such as atrial or ventricular extrasystoles, or atrial fibrillation, should not use this blood pressure monitor without first consulting their doctor.
• In some cases, the oscillometric measurement method may give inaccurate results.
• Taking measurements too frequently may injure the patient by interfering with blood flow.
• Do not apply the cuff over a wound, as this may cause further injury.
• Do not dismantle the device or cuff. Do not attempt to repair it.
