To monitor the temperature of the whole family, Torm Frontal F05 forehead thermometer offers a quick, hygienic reading using contactless infrared technology.
Quick, contactless readings
F05 takes a temperature reading in one second, without touching the skin. This can make it easier to take a sleeping child’s temperature without waking them. The green indicator light comes on for five seconds for temperatures between 34 °C and 37.6 °C; the red indicator light indicates a reading between 37.6 °C and 43 °C. These visual indicators make the result easy to read at a glance. The device stores the last 10 readings, making it easy to check recent values and monitor changes in temperature. The manufacturer states that its performance has been validated in a laboratory and its accuracy clinically tested using an equivalent model. The stated clinical accuracy meets the requirements of ISO 80601-2-56.
For the whole family
Suitable for infants, children and adults, this device can be used at home or when travelling. Its contactless design means you do not need to place the thermometer on the skin to take a reading. The indicator lights show the temperature ranges specified by the manufacturer, while the stored readings make everyday monitoring easier. How to use Torm Frontal?
Hold the thermometer about 1 cm from your temple, then press the START button. The temperature is displayed in one second. Read the instructions carefully before first use.

• Vasoconstriction, a basic physiological response, may occur at the start of a fever episode, resulting in skin that feels cool to the touch. The temperature measured at this time will be lower than the core body temperature.
• If the patient’s temperature is affected (e.g. in an incubator or by a heated blanket), the measurement provided by this device must not be used to determine whether or not they have a fever.
